'Upload' scenes from heavenly Mohonk

In 'Upload,' the new Amazon Prime original series that premiered on May 1, the main character Nathan wakes up in a digital afterlife at an idyllic resort named Lakeview – in real life, we recognize the spot as the Mohonk Mountain House, a Victorian castle resort surrounded by 40,000 acres over in New Paltz.
“It was a pleasure to work with the cast and crew,” Mohonk reps said. “The filming took place in November of 2017 and took four days to complete (then sprinkled with quite a bit of ‘TV magic’ during post-production). ”
“We are so excited about being featured as a version of ‘heaven.’”
Mohonk is not accepting reservations until June 1, 2020 and many of the surrounding trails may be closed, but you can still ‘Upload’ scenes from the Tulip Garden, Garden Summerhouse, views from Eagle Cliff and Sky Top Tower to spice up those Zoom backgrounds.
