Art Studio Views, September 1-2, 2018
Have you seen gold and black signs popping up around northern Dutchess County recently? They have nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the 11th annual Art Studio Views.
This weekend, September 1 and 2, follow those signs to 30 artist studios throughout the mid-Hudson Valley during this annual self-guided tour. From 11am-5pm, studio doors will open from Germantown to Hyde Park, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, and Tivoli, where artists will be available to discuss their work. There will also be demonstrations throughout the day.
This years participating artists include: Germantown: Dea Archbold (painted glass), Marie Cole (painter), Doris Cultraro (stained glass), Trevor Hunter (painter), Susan Kotulak (ceramics/textiles; Hyde Park: Tarryl Gabel (painter), Carl Grieco (sculptor), Tatiana Rhinevault (painter), Dennis Rush (painter); in Red Hook:, Juliet Harrison (sculptor/photographer), Kevin Rifenburg (painter/printmaker); Rhinebeck: Andrea Alvin (painter), Melissa & Ted Braggins (printmakers), Richard Chianella (photographer), Suzi K.
