2019 Fishkill Polar Plunge
If you think it’s cold out inside, just imagine jumping into a freezing body of water in the middle of winter.
It may warm you to know, that it’s all for a good cause – to raise money for the Special Olympics!
The 21st annual Fishkill Polar Plunge will take place this Saturday, February 16th at The Fresh Air Fund's Sharpe Reservation with two plunge times – 10 am and 1pm.
The Polar Plunge fundraising event for the Special Olympics was founded by retired police officer Chris Hamel, who also serves as the committee's chairman in Fishkill.
Those ready to freeze for a reason, can sign-up as an individual, with a team or you may sign-up on the day of the event. To chicken to take the plunge?
