’Tis the season to light up these long, dark nights with special displays, tree lightings and more around the Hudson Valley:

ERDAJT Holiday Light Display
November 29 - December 28, 2024 beginning at 4:45pm daily. The display runs until 9:30pm Sunday through Thursday and until 10:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and from December 22 through December 28, 2024.

This year’s display features over 735,000 lights, all controlled wirelessly. Playlists and charities change nightly. Drive through only; No parking or stopping allowed. Keep parking lights on. Do not use their neighbor’s driveways to turn around. https://erdajt.com

Peace, Love and Lights
November 29 - December 29, 2024 from 5-10pm. Last entry at 9pm
Cost of admission: $32 in advance for standard vehicles, $47 for Limos/RVs, and $87 for buses; more day-of
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 200 Hurd Rd, Bethel
Enjoy the dazzling beauty of a 1.7-mile light show as it illuminates the scenic grounds of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, from the comfort of the car. Themed areas include: New York; Holidays Around the World; Snowflake Alley; Christmas; Candy Cane Lane; Enchanted Forest; and as a nod to the historic site, Groovy Way. Holiday Lights in Bloom
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, November 29 - December 29, 2024 from 5 to 8pm

Arboretum, Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Hamptonburgh
Presented by the Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation, the Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, walk-through garden-themed light display in the forms of flowers, animals, and insects. Wintertide

Featuring activities for all ages throughout the day across the myriad of businesses lining Broadway, Abeel Street, West Strand, and Rondout Landing. Santa on the Walkway

Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick is coming to town, and you can meet him on the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge! Bring your kids, your dogs – the whole family – to Walkway Over the Hudson for this unique opportunity to take your own photos with Santa. Enjoy seasonal music, candy canes, hot cocoa, local holiday art, and a snuggle with the adorable Brays of Sunshine miniature donkeys, too!

Poughkeepsie Festival of Lights

The First-Annual Jingle Bell Dash
Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9am
Cost of registration: $25
Begins at 300 Wall Street, Kingston
Attendees are encouraged to strip down – or dress up – in their own creative and festive holiday looks for this fun run through the streets of Kingston to raise funds in support of the youth programs of the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center. Starting at the pride crosswalk outside of 300 Wall Street, the dash will take participants down Wall Street, Across Front Street, up Fair Street, across Main Street and back down Wall Street to the Community Center. Spectators are encouraged to dress in their holiday finest and gather along the route and cheer on those dashing through Uptown Kingston! Prizes will be given for the best Jingle Bell Dash looks! Cost of admission: Free
Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center, Kingston
featuring It’s a Wonderful Life at 2pm and The Polar Express at 6pm at the Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center. Complimentary donuts and hot cocoa will be provided. Bring chairs and/or blankets. Adult supervision required for anyone under 18 years old.


Germantown Winter Glow
