Free passes to Mohonk Preserve available to local residents, for a limited time
As part of a Healthy Hudson Valley campaign, residents of Ulster, Orange, Dutchess, Columbia and Greene counties can pick up a free six-week pass to hike, bike, rock climb and simply enjoy the 8,000-acre Mohonk Preserve in Ulster County.
Register online March 16-22, or in person from March 20-22 at the visitor center. Passes will be valid through April 30, 2026. Children 15 and under are always free to the Mohonk Preserve with an accompanying adult passholder and do not require a separate pass. One adult can pick up passes in person for a maximum of four passes per household. Proof of residency is required. Available to current non-members only, while supplies last.
