NYS Bloom Report 2026

This week’s Bloom Report for the Hudson Valley from I Love NY:

  • Tulips are still in full bloom in Kerhonkson at Kelder’s Farm. The farm is currently hosting the Hudson Valley Tulip Festival.

  • At Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison, cherry blossoms, lilacs, and tulips are in full bloom. Other notable on-site blooms include apple blossoms, quince, pear, and lavender.

  • In New Paltz, cherry blossoms and tulips are in full bloom, early blooms are appearing on magnolias, and lilacs are budding, at Mohonk Mountain House. Daffodils and hellebores on the property are also in full bloom. The Mohonk Tulip Festival is taking place through May 11.

  • In Montgomery, staff at the Orange County Arboretum report that their 50,000 tulip bulbs are in full bloom and early blooms are appearing on Asian lilacs, while magnolias and cherry blossoms are now past peak.

  • In Yonkers, cherry blossoms and lilacs are in full bloom, and early blooms are appearing on magnolias, at Untermyer Gardens Conservancy.

  • Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Valhalla at The Kensico Cemetery. Magnolias in the cemetery have finished blooming and are past peak. Upcoming events at the cemetery and arboretum grounds include free evening walking tours.

  • At Lasdon Public Gardens & Veterans Memorial in Katonah, cherry blossoms and lilacs are in full bloom. Magnolias and early tulips are past peak, but later tulips are in full bloom.  There are also many flowering trees and shrubs in bloom including fothergilla, azaleas, and Korean spice viburnums. Upcoming events include Soft Landings for Littles, A Plant Story: From Fern to Flower, Native Tree and Shrub Give Away, and Dangerous and Toxic Outdoor and Indoor Plants Tour.

  • At Clermont State Historic Site in Germantown, Lennei saucer magnolias are in full bloom, as are lilacs.
