Warming center to open 24/7 in Kingston

ULSTER COUNTY WARMING CENTER

ADDRESS: Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church
122 Clinton Avenue, Kingston 12401

HOURS: 24 hours a day through January 4, 2018

With temperatures expected to remain below freezing through next week, Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announced the county’s warming center at the Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church (122 Clinton Avenue in the City of Kingston) will remain open 24-hours a day through 7 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018.

“This ensures that those among us most in need have access to a warm bed, a warm meal, and access to support services that can help when they need it most,” Hein stated.

The warming center, staffed by American Red Cross trained volunteers, will provide shelter, a hot evening meal and breakfast, as well as related services at the church. Homeless adults, ages eighteen and older are welcome.
