Terms + Conditions
The short version:
HVNY LLC takes 13% commission on the final sale price. There is no fee to apply, no fee to list your work, no fee to edit your listing(s), no fee for promotions on our social media channels (unless the artist wants to boost a post).
All products are shipped directly from the seller. If you purchase products from different sellers on the site, shipping times may vary.
All listed prices include shipping costs.
All sales are final. Most of these products are handmade or made-to-order, if you’re unhappy with your purchase, let’s figure it out: email.
As of September 2019, the HVNY Marketplace (HVNY LLC) collects thirteen percent commission on the final cost of the sale. Shipping is included in all prices and not calculated at checkout. Since most items are handmade and made to order, all sales are final. Email us at hello@hvny.info for further information.
HVNY LLC / HVNY Marketplace is registered to collect New York State sales tax and will collect sales tax on all taxable sales of tangible personal property that it facilitates for marketplace sellers for delivery to a New York State address.
As part of the HVNY Marketplace, we ask that all sales that start in the marketplace, be completed through the marketplace. The small commission fee we take on these sales helps maintain the site, pay for any transaction fees, and promote fellow makers/artists. If we find that artists are using the HVNY Marketplace to complete sales on their own sites, Etsy or otherwise, we would have to unfortunately take steps to terminate our agreement. If a customer contacts you directly after viewing your item on the HVNY Marketplace, please direct them to complete the sale through the Marketplace site – every sale on the HVNY Marketplace directly supports you and your fellow local artists, which makes this site possible.
