Film starring Angelina Jolie to shut down streets in Rhinebeck
Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie and the cast and crew of Sunny will shut down streets in Rhinebeck on Monday to continue filming a classic mafia thriller that follows a female gangster fighting to protect herself and her sons from an abusive kingpin.
Filming for Sunny has taken place at several locations across the Hudson Valley this winter, including Newburgh and Beacon.
According to a public notice from the Village of Rhinebeck, filming is scheduled to take place throughout the day on Monday, January 5, 2026, from approximately 7am until 7pm.
Due to filming, there will be no parking and traffic delays on the following streets in advance of, and during, the filming hours:
Both sides of Mulberry Street between Chestnut Street & Livingston Street
Both sides of Livingston Street between North Parsonage Street & Center Street
Intersection of Chestnut Street & North Parsonage Street
Both Sides of North Parsonage Street between Chestnut Street & Livingston Street
Both Sides of Chestnut Street between Mulberry Street & North Parsonage Street
Both Sides of N Parsonage Street between Chestnut Street & Platt Street
Both Sides of Chestnut Street between Beach Street & North Parsonage Street
Mulberry Street will be closed throughout the day. Residents, School Buses, and Emergency Vehicles will be able to pass through the road closure.
