Winter Weather Advisory for Wednesday night - Thursday afternoon
FEBRUARY 5, 2020 • 10AM – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon.
Mixed precipitation is expected, including snow, sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch are expected before turning to rain and drizzle during the day on Thursday.
The advisory is in effect from 11pm Wednesday night through 4pm on Thursday for the mid-Hudson Valley, Schoharie Valley, Helderbergs, eastern Catskills, Capital District, Taconics, southern Berkshires and Litchfield Hills.
Slippery road conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
