VIDEO: Trooper dives into pond to save man in Fishkill

 

On Tuesday, New York State Police released this body cam footage of Trooper Francis Rush jumping into a pond in the Town of Fishkill last month after the driver suffered a medical emergency and veered off the road on Westgate Drive. Without hesitation, Trooper Rush swam to the unconscious victim and pulled him to shore. The driver was treated and survived.
