Bear Mountain Pool opens after $4.2 million upgrade

Following a $4.2 million refurbishment project, the Palisades Interstate Park Commission and the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced that the Bear Mountain Pool has officially opened for the season. According to New York State Parks officials, the extensive work included installation of new pumps and filters, replacement of the pumproom building, and the replacement of portions of the pool deck.

Weekdays: 10am - 5:30pm, last admission at 5pm
Weekends: 11am - 6:30pm, last admission at 6pm
Holidays: 10am - 6:30pm, last admission at 6pm
Cost of admission: $10 per vehicle, $5 cash per person to use the pool
