WEATHER ALERT: Small shot at snow; warming center open
Heavy snow accumulations are expected to remain to the north of the Hudson Valley, with rain turning to a wet snow Monday night into Tuesday morning. Hudson Valley Weather is calling for a "slushy coating to 2 inches and icy roads possible" during the Tuesday morning commute.

It will be unseasonably cool this week with temperatures expected to be 20° to 30° below average on Wednesday. HVW also says it may reach potentially record-low temperatures overnight, so the warming center in Kingston will remain on an evening schedule, 7am through 9am, through late this week.  The center is now located at the 2nd Iglesia La Mision Church, 80 Elmendorf St, Kingston NY 12401. Contact the warming center near you for more information: LINK
