ULSTER: SAWKILL ROAD CLOSURE
November 5-6, 2019 • The Kingston Water Department is beginning a transmission main project that will involve running new water mains and installing new valves in the vicinity of the Binnewater Reservoir in the Town of Ulster. Sawkill Road will be closed from Washington Avenue to the Route 209 overpass from 5am Tuesday, November 5 until the end of the work day on Wednesday, November 6.

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree will be raised in Rockefeller Plaza on Saturday, November 9, 2019. This year’s tree hails from the Village of Florida in Orange County. The big ole Norway Spruce will be driven onto the plaza around 8am, and then carefully untied and craned into its new home on the Center Plaza.
