I-587 Roundabout Informational Open House
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 • 6-8pm • Kingston City Hall, 420 Broadway, Kingston • The construction team from New York State Department of Transportation will provide information about the new roundabout coming to Albany Avenue and Route 32 in the city. The $11.6 million project will reconstruct the intersection of I-587, which includes Colonel Chandler Drive, Broadway, and Albany Ave, into a modern roundabout. The reconfiguration, which features streetscaping, landscaping, raised pedestrian crosswalks and cyclist facilities, will smooth traffic flow and improve safety at a busy entrance to the City of Kingston.
