Mystery solved: ‘Poker Face’ filmed locally
“Poker Face,” the 10-episode mystery-of-the-week series from “Knives Out” director Rian Johnson that follows Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, a “human lie detector,” premieres this week.
But from April through October of 2022, it was no mystery: “Poker Face” was filmed throughout the Hudson Valley – in Accord, Beacon, Middletown, New Paltz, Newburgh, New Windsor, Olivebridge, Poughkeepsie, Somers and Walden – and the production hired “thousands of local extras, and more than 50 local crew members.”
Among those filming alongside local crew members in the area were: Ellen Barkin, Benjamin Bratt, Adrien Brody, David Castañeda, Hong Chau, Clea DuVall, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Jameela Jamil, Judith Light, Tim Meadows, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Nick Nolte, and Chloë Sevigny.
