Meet the Maker:
Name: Stacey Massey
What county do you live in?: Westchester
Biography: Stacey lives in Rye with her husband and two children. Growing up in England, she was a competitive gymnast, which sparked her love for travel as she competed across Europe and the U.S. with Camberley Gymnastics Club. To this day, Stacey still enjoys doing—and photographing—handstands in every new place she visits.
Her passion for photography began during her time in San Francisco but paused when she became a mother. In 2023, Stacey reignited her creative journey, fulfilling her lifelong dream of capturing the Aurora Borealis. Her love for photography also fuels her early morning walks along the Long Island Sound, where she embraces the vibrant beauty of dawn that nature offers each day.
What year did you start living/working in the Hudson Valley?: I moved to Rye in 2015
Where or what are your favorite things to do in the Hudson Valley?: I love to be out in nature, especially in the Autumn time when it seems the whole of the Hudson Valley basks in a glorious golden hue.
