"Improvising Adulthood: What I Wish Someone Had Told Me" by Amanda Hirsch
A guide to creative living, Improvising Adulthood invites you to embrace the idea that life is an improv show — something you create one choice at a time — rather than an exercise in living up to other people’s scripts.
Expect personal stories and creative prompts that help you apply the wisdom of improv to your own life, from the work you do to the people you spend time with and the experiences and places you explore.

Tell us about yourself: Amanda Hirsch is obsessed with the stories we tell and why and how we tell them. Voted "most likely to host a talk show" and "most congenial" by her high school class (go Rockets!), she lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her husband Jordan, their daughter Ali, and their dog Clover, whom she enjoys impersonating.
What year did you start living/working in the Hudson Valley?: 2022
