Name: Melissa Bamber
What county do you live in? Dutchess
Tell us about yourself: Melissa Bamber is an artist, designer and printmaker known for her whimsical, hand drawn style.
Raised in the British School of Design and now based in Rhinebeck, she draws inspiration from nature and explores an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary design themes. An avid equestrian and gardener, horses and botanicals often take center stage amidst a cheeky sprinkling of burlesque dancers, wild cats and insects. Melissa works on paper, textiles and leather to create delightful pieces for home and accessories for living. All pieces are hand-silkscreened by the artist in Kingston's Arts District and hand crafted in New York.

What are some of your favorite things to do in the region?: I love hiking, horse riding, gardening and enjoying farm to table eats in all of our wonderful restaurants!
