Meet the Maker:
Name: Greg Kozatek
What county do you live in?: Greene
Tell us about yourself: I'm a queer art director and illustrator, and I’ve run a queer satire magazine called The InQueery since 2019. The InQueery “investigates” trends, behavior, and artifacts. Notable findings have included developing the definitive taxonomy of gay iced coffee poses as well as reporting on an array of quotidian phenomena as unequivocally queer (see: lighthouses, focaccia, Jeep Wranglers). In addition to its incisive, groundbreaking “research,” The InQueery is committed to fostering collaboration between writers and illustrators in celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture.
What year did you start living/working in the Hudson Valley?: 2020
What are some of your favorite things to do in the region?: I love hiking, discovering new towns and visiting the region's incredible restaurants. I'm always amazed the incredible hidden gems the Hudson Valley has to offer!
