Record breaking croissant recorded in Rockland

It’s the kind of news that flaky carb-lovers can get behind: A bakery in Rockland County recently officially recorded the largest croissant in the world – out baking Germany by more than 21.05 centimeters (approximately 8.29-inches).

The croissant, created by Rockland Bakery head baker Sean McConnell, was measured at 41.75 inches, approximately 106.05 centimeters in length. The record, verified by Rockland County Weights and Measures officials, surpassed the 85-centimeter croissant recorded in Germany earlier this year.
