First snow of 2020 expected to bring 2-6 inches to the Hudson Valley

According to Hudson Valley Weather, the first snowfall of 2020 will begin around 11am on Saturday with 2-6 inches accumulating in the Hudson Valley and 4-8” in the Catskills. Snow is expected to fall steadily, possibly heavy at times from 2-7pm, before tapering off, from west to east, by 10pm.

Winter weather advisories are in effect through 1am January 19, 2020 for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.
