Missing former town supervisor last seen exiting Metro North
Police seeking information after Ryan Courtien was last seen doing yard work

As of Friday afternoon, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) says they are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Ryan Courtien, 49, the former Town of Dover Supervisor last seen doing yard work at his house.
Investigators have confirmed that Courtien was last observed on July 12, 2026, at approximately 12:38 p.m., exiting a Metro-North train at Grand Central Terminal and walking toward Madison Avenue. Courtien appeared to be traveling alone and was wearing khaki pants and a black long-sleeved shirt. He may still be in the New York City area.
The New York State Police are requesting the public's assistance in locating Courtien. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State Police at (845) 677-7300.
