"I'm Booked" Hand Embroidered Bookmark by Genevieve
This embroidery bookmark features the love of reading! There are detailed books, stacks of books, and lettering. It is on white felt with a silver ribbon at the top.
This embroidery was handmade by me and a one of a kind, unique piece. All materials are organic and designs are my own creation. Shades of colors may vary slightly. Includes the hoop pictured. Can be hung up. No returns or exchanges.

Name: Genevieve Goetz
What county do you live in?: Columbia
Brief Biography: I live in Hudson Valley and really love the beauty around me. I am a librarian at Chatham Public Library, and Albany Public Library. I truly enjoy what I do and feel very lucky. I studied Black and White Photography for my BA. I found I am drawn to making art with my hands. My first art show was on Main Street in Chatham and is such a special memory. More recently, I’ve tried many different mediums of art and found myself watching videos on how to stitch. Learning a new way to create and express myself is still a exciting journey. I’m also very inspired by many other variations of modern fiber arts, like needle painting.
How long have you been living/working in the Hudson Valley?: 8 years
Where or what are your favorite things to do in the Hudson Valley?: I love to be outdoors, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding. I also really enjoy going to local farms and markets. Local theaters are very fun, along with yoga studios.
Describe your work: Hand embroidery on upcycled fashion and home decor
Anything else we should know about you and your work?: I believe inspiration can be found anywhere, and it’s never too late to try something new. Art is very therapeutic and I’m very grateful for such a supportive and inspiring maker community!
