Calendar for October 14-20, 2019

In October 1777, months after Kingston was christened New York's first capital, British troops invaded the city and burned it to the ground. Every year, the community commemorates The Burning of Kingston with a weekend-long celebration of the resilience and determination that ultimately rebuilt the city, featuring living history re-enactments and a variety of family friendly activities, food, art, and more.

Note: the Office for the Aging and OFA Senior Friendship Centers will be closed for the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, October 14, 2019. Clients of the Home Delivered Meals program will receive shelf-stable meals in advance of the holiday weekend.
