Rare photos of John Lennon on display in Hudson

May Pang was John Lennon's lover and companion from 1973 through 1975. During this time, she captured the musician intimately during his “Lost Weekend” period through candid images while Lennon worked on his post-Beatles albums including “Mind Games” and “Walls and Bridges,” and collaborated with Elton John, David Bowie, Harry Nilsson, Mick Jagger, and Ringo – and lived alongside Lennon in a house with fellow partiers Ringo Starr, Keith Moon of The Who, and Harry Nilsson.

In addition to intimate images of the Beatles icon, the exhibition includes the only photograph that exists of John Lennon signing the contract to dissolve the Beatles, as well as one of the last known photographs of John Lennon and Paul McCartney together from March 29, 1974.  Both photographs have never been available to the public until now.

Pang’s candid photographs from “The Lost Weekend” will be on view for a limited time at the Park Theater in Hudson from June 28 through Sunday, June 30, 2024. All work will be available for purchase. May Pang will be attendance during the exhibition to further tell the stories behind her limited-edition photographs.

Dates: Friday, June 28 from 4pm – 7pm, Saturday, June 29 from 11am – 6pm and Sunday, June 30 from 12pm – 4pm.
Location: Park Theater, 723 Warren Street, Hudson
