Inaugural Pizza Party kicks off in Saugerties

Airstreams, canned cocktails, fire pits + legendary ‘za

In a day and age when ticket prices for concerts are skyrocketing beyond control (like if you tried to get tickets for that Tina Fey + Amy Poehler rehearsal at the Capitol Theatre last week and were met with a Ticketmaster price tag of $745+ per ticket), on Saturday, Radio Woodstock and The Wild Honey Pie counteracted that corporate concert culture with… a Pizza Party: fresh, wood-fired pizza, drinks, and a show for one reasonable ticket price ($60).

Despite any dampening from the evening’s rain, the inaugural Pizza Party took over the swanky AutoCamp site filled with Airstreams in West Saugerties on Saturday night, headlined by the Brooklyn-based band, Toledo. Attendees gladly waited under the AutoCamp awning, adorned with padded porch swings, for wood-fired servings from Paulie Gees, the legendary Greenpoint spot (with locations throughout the city and country, including Madison Square Garden), and sipped on complimentary craft beers, canned cocktails, and other n/a drinks while warming up around Solo Stove fire pits, and pursuing the AutoCamp Clubhouse (where Google Pixel team members had a retreat last summer, archery included).

The next Pizza Party will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Crown Garden, located at 42 Crown Street in Kingston. Liz Cooper will headline. Tickets are $60 and include pizza from Paulie Gees, two drinks and the performance.  Tickets: https://bit.ly/HVNY_PizzaParty_Kingston
