What county do you live in?: Ulster

Biography: I have been very inspired and shaped by growing up with my grandmothers' and Mom's textile and handwork influences. The desire and motivation to make things with my hands has been with me all my life. The beauty of our the natural world and a sense of community are very important to me. Art and music connect me to others and to my inner self.

How long have you been living/working in the Hudson Valley?: I grew up in Putnam County, went to school in Western New York, traveled briefly and have been living in the Hudson Valley most of my life.

Where or what are your favorite things to do in the Hudson Valley?: I love visiting parks and gardens and historical places of interest in the Hudson Valley. Also I believe we have one of the best Library Systems around in the Mid Hudson Library system and enjoy programs and services throughout the region. I wish I could pick a favorite place but it's difficult to pick just one. That one can live in the Hudson Valley and have so many choices for day trips is precious to me. I live near the Hudson River and never tire of its profound presence.
