Live viewing party to watch Saugerties native Ian Flanigan compete on ‘The Voice’
On Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8, the community of Saugerties will get together – with all the COVID-19 protocols in place  – for a live drive-in viewing party to watch The Voice – and Hudson Valley native Ian Flanigan compete in the Top 9 – on a LED screen at Cantine Field. There is limited capacity of 150 cars for this free event, and those in attendance must remain in their vehicles at all time. Connect Mid-Hudson Transit Study Public Meeting
Thursday, December 10, 2020 • 6pm • Virtual via Zoom • In late 2018, Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties began work on a regional transit study titled Connect Mid-Hudson: a collaborative effort to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the existing regional transit network in the Mid-Hudson Valley, and to identify opportunities to improve regional connections (i.e. improve services between the three counties, and services between the Mid-Hudson region to other regions such as NYC). This meeting will present the study’s key findings and recommendations. Read more here.



Kingston Free Book Fair
Rescheduled due to weather. New date: Saturday, December 12, 2020 • noon - 4pm • Kingston Library, 55 Franklin Street • The goal of the Kingston Free Book Fair is to distribute free books to the community, and in doing so we hope to make literature accessible for all. Those who can afford to buy books are encouraged to donate money, which will go to Kingston Mutual Aid.
