Rhinebeck village offices closed due to rising COVID cases effective Monday November 23, 2020
Out of an abundance of caution and due to the recent rise in Dutchess County COVID cases, in-person meetings at Village Hall are hereby suspended. This restriction applies to all offices: Mayor, Village Clerk, Water Clerk, Treasurer, Building-Planning and Zoning. The exception is for court, which is currently mandated to continue, and the Village Police Dept. All public meetings, including the Village Board, Planning Board, and the Zoning board of Appeals will be held remotely.

“I am deeply sorry that we must take this drastic measure,” Gary Bassett said “but to protect our village staff we must take these precautions until further notice.”

All water/wastewater payments and court fees/fines may be paid using the drop box or service window beside the entrance to Village Hall. If an in-person meeting is required, accommodations will be made to use the large upstairs room. Attendees will be required to sign-in, as well as wear a mask and gloves. LINK
