Name: Lauree Ostrofsky
What county do you live in?: Dutchess
Biography: I'm an author, coach, speaker and hugger, and most importantly an introvert who never imagined she'd do any of those things. Being in front of people?! No way, and yet here I am. What made all of this possible was finding something I believe in so much that it propels me out of my comfort zone to help others -- and surviving a brain tumor which gave me new appreciation for life and more willingness to push through fear and "do it anyway."
How long have you been living/working in the Hudson Valley?: I grew up in Dutchess County, moved to NYC and Washington, DC for 15 years, and moved back a few years ago to re-discover this beloved area!
Where or what are your favorite things to do in the Hudson Valley?: Wandering in small towns and bookstores, long talks with good friends over coffee, and of course supporting local women-owned businesses while doing all of that.
