Bread alone to close Rhinebeck location for renos

Just a few weeks after announcing their Kingston location will close to the public, Bread Alone will be closing their Rhinebeck location beginning this Monday, March 6 for renovations.

“After more than a decade without more than fresh paint, we are re-envisioning the cafe around the idea of commonwealth, for common good,” the company said in a statement.

Cafe seating will return to the front space, booths will line the hallway, and “a central banquette will anchor the back room.” There will be more grab-and-go items available, as well as a full menu of carbon neutral items from their bakery in Boiceville.

Construction will take place starting Monday, March 6, with the re-opening currently scheduled for April 7, 2023.
